Monroe Man Charged with Possession, Sale of Marijuana

Traffic stop leads to arrest on several drug charges.

A Monroe man was arrested on charges of drug possession and distribution after police discovered paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Monroe police conducted a traffic stop Saturday just before 8 p.m. after allegedly seeing Eric Musacchio, 20, of Millbrook Terrace, drifting over the flog line several times on Route 111.

Musacchio appeared to be very nervous when officers approached, according to the police report, and, after being asked, admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle.

Officers found two bags and a glass jar of marijuana, as well as two boxes of sandwich bags, a scale, weights and another glass jar.

Musacchio was arrested and charged with use and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and illegal manufacture, distribution and sale of marijuana. He was released on $1,000 bond pending arraignment on July 15.
