Monroe Man Held in Hamden Burglary

Allegedly entered a Woodin Street home and stole hundred of dollars worth of ski equipment, according to police.

A Monroe man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly breaking into a Woodin Street home.

The burglary happened on Jan 30, according to spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith, when officers, led by Det. Antelo DeLieto, determined that someone had entered the home through an unlocked sliding glass door and stole $725 worth of ski equipment.

The investigation led DeLieto to apply for a warrant for the arrest of Laurance Bardinelli, 24, of 1 Castlewood Dr., Monroe, Smith said.
