Neighbor Sees a Burglar Run Out of Lake Zoar Drive-In

A family member of the owners of the marina on Route 34, who is staying on the property, reported hearing an alarm coming from Lake Zoar Drive-In next door just before 5:45 a.m. on Oct. 12. Police said he ran outside and saw a white male in dark clothing leave through the front door, get into a dark colored pickup truck and speed off in the direction of the Stevenson Dam.

Officers investigating the burglary noticed a door to the eatery had been pried open, causing damage to the door and frame, according to the report.

An employee of Lake Zoar Drive-In arrived on scene and determined that nothing was missing from the interior of the building, police said.
