Newtown Man Turns Self In a Warrant for DUI

A Newtown man, who allegedly had to be restrained after trying to kick and strike police officers and EMTs trying to assess his injuries following a one-car-accident on Huntingtown Road on June 27, turned himself in on warrants charging him with DUI and interfering with an officer on Aug. 17.

William Fulton, 58, of Wills Road was released on a total bond $500 for an Aug. 27 court date.

On June 27, police said Fulton lost control of his Sonata on Huntingtown Road and went completely off the shoulder, striking several poles.
