Police are Investigating Two Thefts from Vehicles

Two vehicle break-ins were reported in the Center One Eleven parking lot at 380 Monroe Turnpike June 3, while the victims classes at the World Fitness Studio.

Police said a woman told them the passenger side window of her 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser was smashed and a purse containing credit cards, approximately $130 cash and a cell phone was taken.

Then police received a second complaint from a woman who said her 2010 Lexus was broken into. First someone smashed the driver's side window, but didn't gain access, then smashed the rear driver's side door and stole a purse, which the owner told officers was kept under the seat, according to the report.

Police said the purse contained credit cards.
