Police received an anonymous call of a Mercury Milan driving erratically on Jockey Hollow Road, near West Maiden Lane, and the caller managed to stay behind it, police said, adding officers caught up to the vehicle on Pepper Street.

The Mercury Milan had no front plate and an officer pulled it over on Pepper Street, according to the report.

Police said Butler told officers he had been driving erratically because he had to go to the bathroom really, really bad. He appeared to be nervous, was shaking and avoiding eye contact, police said.

Officers found Butler's license was suspended and police said he would not give a straight answer as to why. As he stepped out of his car, police said a hypodermic needle dropped to the pavement and Butler attempted to kick it under the vehicle, but that an officer saw it.

Butler admitted that there may be more needles in the console of his car, police said, so Butler was arrested and his car was searched.

Police said officers found a crack pipe and seven folds of a powdery substance that appeared to be heroin in the lower portion of driver's side door and three used hypodermic needles and 11 heroin folds with residue inside the center console. The powdery substance later tested positive for heroin, police said.
