Police Charge Man in Theft of Red Bull, Baby Formula ...

Police arrested a Trumbull man on a warrant Nov. 6 for allegedly shoplifting at Big Y Supermarket, 535 Monroe Turnpike, on three occasions.

Anthony Frascatore, 25, of Madison Avenue was charged with sixth-degree larceny and has a court date of Nov. 14.

On July 19, police contacted the loss prevention officer at Big Y and were told he was reviewing store video and observed a white male — later identified as Frascatore — taking items from the store without paying on three different dates.

On June 26, surveillance videos show Frascatore taking two cans of baby formula, and two packs of Red Bull and leaving the store without attempting to pay, according to the report.

On June 29, video shows him placing Axe Deodorant, and several packages of razors into his basket and leaving without attempting to pay, police said.

Then on July 5, Frascatore is observed entering the store and leaving with assorted batteries and a package of Tostitos without paying for it, according to the report.

Once investigators were able to identify Frascatore, police said officers applied for a warrant.
