Police Make Arrest in Theft of 11 Boxes of Trojans
Police arrested a Shelton man on a warrant Oct. 30, charging him in the theft of about $110 worth of Trojans condoms from Stop & Shop, 470 Monroe Turnpike, on Aug. 6.
Jose Bulerin, 48, of Birchbank Road was charged with three counts of sixth-degree larceny and held on $1,000 bond for an Oct. 31 court date.
On Aug. 6, a supervisor of the self-service checkout at Stop & Shop told officers she saw a tall, bald, African-American man (who police say was Bulerin) with a white female with dark hair, who appeared to be in her late twenties, scan two items for a total of $6.75, according to the report.
