Police Reports: A Domestic Dispute

A Canterbury Lane man allegedly pushed a woman down and interfered with her 9-1-1 call.

The following information was supplied by the Monroe Police Department. No arrested person is guilty until so judged in a court of law.

A Canterbury Lane man was arrested following a domestic dispute at 2:46 Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly pushed the female victim to the ground during an argument, then grabbed the phone and threw it when she tried to call 9-1-1, according to police.

Police said the victim was bleeding from the elbow and knee when officers arrived.

Erik Albrecht, 23, of Canterbury Lane was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with emergency calls and third-degree assault. He was released on $6,000 bond for an Oct. 26 court date.
