A Laurel Drive woman told police someone stole her debit card number to buy hunting equipment

A 27-year-old Laurel Drive woman filed a fraud complaint at police headquarters Monday afternoon after noticing a $100 hold and an unauthorized charge on her Visa debit card.

Police said her online statement showed a $50 charge at Cabela's, a hunting store in East Hartford. The victim did not lose her card, so someone obtained her information, according to the report.
