Police Reports: A Michael Jackson Sighting
A Georgia man was fined for soliciting without a permit Monday
A police officer responding to a complaint of a man in a dark shirt and khaki pants selling magazines in the Beaver Circle and Gerardo Drive neighborhoods fined an Augusta, Ga. teen at 2:01 p.m.
Michael Jackson, 18, of East Bulla was fined $100 for violating a town ordinance against soliciting without a permit.
Lt. Brian McCauley said police receive a higher number of peddling complaints in the spring and summer months.
