The female victim told officers that Belinski wanted to stab her, according to the report. The couple had an argument over the cleaning of an office area when Belinksi allegedly grabbed a three-foot-long garden spike with a metal pointed tip and threatened her, said.
When officers arrived, the victim was outside and Belinksi was inside with the doors locked, police said. After calming him down, officers arrested Belinski based on the victim's statements, the report said.
