A Stratford man caused a disturbance at Arms & Munitions, 193 Main St., Saturday and was later arrested at another town gun shop, according to police.

McCauley said Masikiewicz had been talking about buying a gun, so the officers went to North Atlantic Sportsman, another gun shop in Bart Center on Main Street, on a hunch.

Masikiewicz was at the store, and McCauley said he was loud and acting irrational and obnoxious. After arresting him, police said Masikiewicz was brought to Bridgeport Hospital for a mental evaluation.
