A man visiting his parents' Pastors Walk home May 15 saw another vehicle in the driveway. The driver got out of the car before entering the house through the garage, according to the report.

Police said the man called 911 and officers found Rogerio Atilho, 53, of Old Field Road in Trumbull in the house with drill bits, a tape measure, files and some tools. He told officers he had authorization to be there and to take things from the garage, police said, adding no verification could be found.

Atilho was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $2,000 for a May 25 court date.
