Police Reports: Burglary on Hattertown Road

It was a tough day for the street, which had a burglary and a neighborhood woman turn herself in on a warrant for a domestic incident minutes apart.

A 13-year-old boy coming home from school Thursday afternoon noticed a window had been damaged in front of his family's Hattertown Road home, according to a police report.

Inside, the house had been ransacked and police detectives are now investigating a burglary. The victims are taking an inventory of their belongings to determine what items are missing.

The incident, which occurred near the Newtown line, was reported at 3:59 p.m.
