Now that Brook Street is paved and a temporary traffic light at the Pepper Street intersection is in place, Police Lt. Brian McCauley said the Connecticut Department of Transportation project on Main Street will be in full swing on Tuesday.

Traffic will be directed along detours.

"The first couple days will be sticky as things are sorted out and it gets into a rhythm," McCauley said of the project. "It's gonna be a change."
