Officers arrested a man for DUI and a Masuk student reported his tennis racket stolen
DUI on Monroe Turnpike
An 18-year-old Block Farm Road man was arrested for DUI at 1:35 Thursday morning, after police saw his vehicle cross the double yellow center line on Monroe Turnpike — near Masuk High School, according to the report.
Tyler Mokarry was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He was released on $500 bond for a July 18 court date.

Police said a clear plastic bag was sticking out of Mokarry's pocket and that the contents tested positive for marijuana. Field sobriety tests at the scene determined he was under the influence, according to police.
A urine sample was taken at police headquarters.

Stolen Racket
A Masuk student went to school to get his tennis racket from his unlocked locker, but it was missing police said. The youth reported his $200 racket stolen on Thursday.
