Police Reports: DUI and Stolen Tree Care Equipment

Blowing through a red light on Main Street reportedly led to the arrest of a Norwalk motorist and tree equipment was reported stolen from a Route 25 business.

Traffic Violation Leads to DUI Arrest

A Norwalk man was arrested for drunken driving at around 10:18 Saturday night after a police officer saw his blue 2002 BMW head south on Main Street and go through a red light at the intersection of Purdy Hill Road, according to the police report.

Glenn Forcellina, 51, of Crown Avenue spoke with a slurred speech, had bloodshot and glassy eyes and the strong odor of alcoholic beverage on him, police said, adding field sobriety tests determined he was under the influence. At headquarters, police said two breath test results showed his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.
