Police said the woman was evasive in answers to their questions, but was charged with evading responsibility based upon physical evidence and witnesses. She was released on $100 bond for a March 21 court date.
A School Street man turned himself in on a warrant Saturday morning.
Lawrence Pisani, 48, was charged with issuing a bad check. He was released on $5,000 bond for a March 22 court date.
A Stolen Sandwich
Big Y supermarket's loss prevention department decided not to press charges against a 39-year-old Monroe man and a 30-year-old Stamford man for allegedly stealing a sandwich Saturday night, but issued a no trespassing order barring either from entering the store again.
The sandwich was never recovered, according to police.
