Police Reports: Ladder Vandal Ruins Man's Climbing Tool
A ladder won't stay steady without both plastic treads in good working order.
A 70-year-old Countryside Drive man reported damage Monday to the ladder he keeps on the ground in back of his house.
Police said one of the orange plastic treads at the bottom of the ladder had damage consistent with a knife, adding the homeowner now thinks it's unsafe to use.
