Police Reports: No Glazed Donut Sticks? I'll Blow Up this Place!

Officers responded to reports of an angry customer and a loss of air conditioning

What?! No Glazed Donut Sticks?

A man went to the drive-thru window of Dunkin Donuts, 135 Main Street, at 1:36 a.m. Monday and ordered two iced coffees and a glazed donut stick. Upon being told the store ran out of glazed donut sticks, the customer became angry and threatened to blow up the place, according to the police report.

He demanded that the clerk tell him every kind of donut they had in the back, before he smashed the ceramic tip cup and drove off, police said, adding the employee was unable to obtain the vehicle's registration plate.

When the air conditioning was not working properly that morning she called the contractor, who discovered the copper was taken from all four units and left on a section of roof at the rear of the building.

Police are calling it an attempted larceny. Each unit is valued at $5,000 and it is not known if they can be repaired.
