Police Reports: Not All Paint Vandals Need a Gun

A Heather Road man told police the driver's side of his jeep had been doused with white paint.

Police have been investigating a rash of paintball vandalism cases over the past two weeks, but on Tuesday night paint was used to deface property in a different way. A 59-year-old Heather Road man reportedly found a side of his jeep covered with fresh white paint.

He parked his jeep in front of his residence at approximately 7 p.m. and when he went back out at 8:30 p.m. to move it into the driveway, he saw fresh white paint along the entire driver's side, said.

The man immediately went in to wash his jeep to avoid long term damage, but when officer's arrived they saw a white puddle in the driveway, according to the report.
