Police Reports: Return of the Mailbox
A woman's Shelton mailbox followed her to her new home in Monroe
A woman who lives on Cross Hill Road in Monroe called police at 9:55 Thursday morning when she found a black and white mailbox in her driveway. said it had the number 76 on it and that the woman realized it was her old mailbox from her former address on Hickory Lane in Shelton.
Police said she has no idea how or why the mailbox wound up on the driveway of her current home.
