Police Reports: Shattered Glass, Dead Air, No Direction

Officers responded to a vandalism, a silent caller and a theft from motor vehicle

Rock Through a Window

A Cedar Lane resident told police he was watching TV at home at 11:14 Wednesday morning when a man in his 20s knocked on the door. When the resident went to see who it was, a rock came crashing through a window in front of the house.

The victim called police and the stranger and whoever threw the rock took off, according to the report.

GPS Stolen

A 17-year-old male reported a $42 GPS unit stolen Thursday when his 2000 Audi was broken into outside Big Y Supermarket.

Police said the victim parked his car in front of the store at 4 p.m. and came back at 5:30 to find a window had been smashed and his GPS unit was missing. The theft is under investigation.

Dead Air

A Whitewood Drive woman told police Monday that she had received six phone calls from a private number between May 12 and May 23, but when she answered the calls there was nothing but dead air on the other end, according to the report.

Police are looking into it.
