A police officer questioned a Monroe man and a Southbury juvenile outside Dunkin Donuts, 230 Route 34, at 4:40 p.m. Sunday upon seeing the drivers acting suspicious, parked side-by-side, according to the report.
Police said neither driver was there to purchase anything and the officer could detect the odor of a marijuana cigarette. A canine check determined there was pot in both vehicles, and a total of 24 grams was found, police said.
Kevin M. Donlon, 18, of Blanket Meadow Road and the 17-year-old Southbury male were both charged with possession of less-than-four-ounces of marijuana and released on $500 bond for an April 13 court date.
