Police Reports: Stolen Groceries
A Monroe woman turned herself in on a warrant March 27 after allegedly stealing a cart full of groceries from Big Y on two occasions.
The following information was supplied by the Monroe Police Department. No arrested person is guilty until so judged in a court of law.

A Maplewood Drive woman turned herself in on a warrant March 27 for the alleged theft of groceries from supermarket.
Jodi Russell, 42, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court on April 3.

On two occasions, police said Russell paid for a carton of cigarettes, but not for a cart full of groceries. She had been held by store security for shoplifting on Jan. 31 and a loss prevention officer identified Russell as the suspect in a Feb. 13 shoplifting incident while reviewing surveillance footage, police said.
