Kicked Out of Prom

Two male students from Emmett O'Brien Technical High School were both issued infractions for possession of alcohol by a minor in a public place at 10:04 p.m. May 18, after sneaking flasks of alcohol to their prom at The Waterview in Monroe, police said.

Police said the principal wanted legal action taken, so officers issued the infractions and the teens' parents were called to pick them up.

The males were an 18-year-old from West Haven and a 17-year-old from Ansonia.
