Police Reports: Windows Smashed, Lights Bashed, Tires Slashed

A van and a car owned by two businesses sharing a parking lot on Pepper Street had extensive damage, according to a Dec. 23 vandalism complaint.

Van and Car Damaged

Two vehicles were vandalized outside businesses at 476 Pepper Street, according to a complaint made on Dec. 23.

Police said the owner of a business across the street noticed the damage and called them. A '93 Mazda owned by Our Greenhouse had all of its windows smashed out, but police said nothing was missing. In fact, the car stereo remained intact, according to the report.

Every window of a Chevy van owned by Piccirillo Electric had been smashed out, it headlights and tail lights were bashed in, all four tires were slashed and dents were made along the body, police said. Nothing was reported missing. A GPS unit in plain sight had not been touched, police said.

An employee had parked the van there at 1 p.m. the previous day, the report said.

Police had no estimates on the cost of the damage to either vehicle.
