Raccoons Under a Shed

Misty Lane residents told Monroe Animal Control that raccoons were living under their shed on April 19 and eviction and exclusion methods were discussed. A referral was also made to a nuisance wildlife operator.

A raccoon got stuck in a Dumpster on Fan Hill Road at around 12:30 p.m. on April 21. The animal was removed and released on the property and the Dumpster was secured.

Sick Raccoon Euthanized

An adult male raccoon had to be euthanized after being spotted on the back deck of a home on Camelot Drive on April 21. Monroe Animal Control Officer Ed Risko said the animal was sick.
