Shelton Road Crash Sends Two Young Occupants to the Hospital

A car struck a tree and rolled over at around 10 p.m., according to the fire department

UPDATE 10:17 a.m.:

Police said the car had a male and a female in it, both age 20. No more information available at this time.

Two people were transported to the hospital late Monday night after a one-car crash on Route 110, near the Shelton line. Firefighter Kevin Catalano said both occupants appeared to be college age.

The car hit a tree at around 10 p.m. and rolled over. Firefighters assisted in removing one of the patients, who ended up tossed from the front seat to the back seat.

Two Monroe ambulances, one American Medical Response medic, two fire engines and three police cars responded to the call.
