A pile of boxes that caught fire were put out before firefighters arrived

Firefighters were responding to an alarm at Really Good Stuff, 448 Pepper Street, at 5:50 tonight, when the dispatcher told them a pile of boxes that caught fire in the warehouse area had already been extinguished.

But Fire Marshal Bill Davin has deemed the fire to be suspicious and said he is investigating the incident.

"I'll be meeting with the on duty manager tomorrow morning," Davin said Monday.
