Thefts from Unlocked Vehicles on Doris Drive

A Masuk High School student living on Doris Drive was leaving for school Friday morning when she noticed the center console in her car was open, the vehicle's interior had been rummaged through and her $20 iPhone charger was missing, according to police.

Police said the car had been left unlocked overnight.

When the young woman left for school she also noticed the garage door was open, though she believed it had been closed the night before, police said.

Once she arrived at school, she contacted her family and told them what had happened and police said her mother checked the vehicle in the garage and found a $1,000 Cannon EOS 2000 camera was missing from inside the vehicle, which had also been left unlocked.

Police said the young woman believes the thefts occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and 7:20 a.m. on Friday.
