Thieves Stole Close to $3,000 in Flea & Tick Medication

Surveillance footage at Choice Pet Supply captured two women stealing $2,856 worth of medication.

A security officer of Choice Pet Supply, 535 Monroe Turnpike, told police Feb. 21 that he reviewed surveillance footage that morning and saw two women stealing close to $3,000 in flea and tick medication the night before.

At 7 p.m. on Feb. 20, police said one woman engaged the cashier in conversation and got her to walk to the back of the store with her to look for something. Then a second woman went behind the counter and filled her purse with 34 boxes of Frontline flea and tick medication worth a total of $2,856, according to the report.

Police said both suspects were caucasions with long dark hair, who appeared to be in their twenties. The one that led the cashier away from the counter was skinny with a black long-sleeved shirt and jeans and the second suspect wore a grey sweatshirt and black pants, according to police.
