Thousands of Dollars Worth of Items Stolen in Burglary

A burglary was reported on Park View Lane on April 15.

A Park View Lane couple came home to a crime scene at 6:14 p.m. Monday. They entered their house through the garage and walked into the kitchen, where they noticed the window over the sink had been smashed with shards of glass all over the counter and kitchen island, police said.

The husband checked his children's bedrooms and the master bedroom, which he found ransacked, then he got out of the house with his wife and called police, according to the report.

Among the items reported stolen were two of the children's $400 i-Pads, four watches valued at $2,000 a piece from a bureau in the master bedroom, a Coach wallet containing $1,000 cash from the daughter's bedroom bureau and a wallet containing $1,500 cash from the son's nightstand.
