Tools Stolen from An Unlocked Pickup Truck

A Patmar Drive resident told police he had left his GMC pickup truck unlocked with the keys in the ignition on Oct. 9, but a thief who entered his vehicle only stole a bag of tools.

The bag contained a $119 Rigid reciprocating saw, a $139 Rigid screw gun, a $189 Rigid 12-volt impact gun and three 18 volt batteries ($117 each). Police said the incident took place sometime between 5 p.m. on Oct. 9 and 7:40 a.m. on Oct. 10

Police said nothing else in the vehicle was missing or disturbed. The incident is under investigation.
