York Rake Stolen from a Property on Turkey Roost

A piece of farming equipment was last seen by its owner on Feb. 8 and she noticed it was missing in April, according to police.

A Turkey Roost Road woman told police she parked her piece of farming equipment, a York Rake, just into the wood line of her property last winter and did not notice it was missing until the first week of April.

She initially believed her husband brought the York Rake somewhere to be serviced, but when she asked him about it, he told her he hadn't touched it, police said, explaining why the theft was not reported until April 15.

Police said no estimate of the York Rake's value was given.
