Verizon Wireless Tracking Leads to Alleged Thief

A Jockey Hollow Middle School student's phone was found on another student.

A female student at Jockey Hollow Middle School came to police headquarters on March 25 to report the theft of her $500 iPhone, which she said was taken from her locker during gym class, according to police.

Officers found it using a Verizon wireless tracking application, police said, adding another girl had the phone.

Nobody wanted to file any charges and the school and police are working together to resolve the situation.
