Woman Reads About Her Missing Ring on Patch

Honest CardSmart employees turned a customer's lost ring over to police, who advertised it in a Patch article. The owner saw the story and claimed her ring.

A woman who lost her ring at CardSmart on Monroe Turnpike got it back after reading an article on Monroe Patch. Police said she brought her receipt to the station while claiming it.

A CardSmart employee told had police someone left a "three-stone diamond ring" in what appears to be a white gold setting at the counter of the store at 447 Monroe Turnpike on June 8, sometime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Police said the store posted a sign on the front window saying "Found jewelry. Inquire within", but when no one claimed it, the employees turned it over to the Monroe Police Department.
