A woman told police she believes one of the movers who helped her to relocate from Edge Hill Circle in Monroe to Tennessee late last year stole $18,660 worth jewelry from her, according to a reported filed on June 30.
She suspected the theft last October when movers packed her items, but thought they could have sent it to Tennessee ahead of her move, police said. After performing an inventory of her belongings at her new home, she now definitely believes one of the workers stole her jewelry, police said.
Police are investigating the complaint.
