A fire cistern will be installed from 28 to 34 Craig Drive this week and only emergency vehicles, school buses and local vehicles will be allowed to access that section of the street as work crews do the job, according to the Public Works Department. Drivers should seek alternate routes.
The fire cistern will provide a water source for firefighters in the event of fire calls in the neighborhood.
Public Works crews' work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the schedule may be affected by weather conditions and the availability of manpower.
