Monroe Police Station Project: Construction 95% Complete [VIDEO]

Monroe Police Station Building Committee Chairman J.P. Sredzinski gave fellow Town Council members an update on the project Monday night and construction resumed on Tuesday.

Town Councilman J.P. Sredzinski, who also serves as building committee chairman of the $4.1 million police station project, which includes renovations and two new additions, updated the council on the progress on Monday night.

"We're on schedule and within budget," he said during the meeting.

Sredzinski said construction is 95% complete.

Work resumed on Tuesday. The contractor is Dolphin Construction.

Were all of the downspouts to the gutters on the entire building replaced as well? I visited Town Hall and it appeared that they were all a new copper finish. Is that real copper they used or a mateial to look like copper?

It's real gold. Just looks like copper
