Cancer Support Community has created the Cancer Experience Registry

Cancer Support Community's (CSC) Research and Training Institute has created the Cancer Experience Registry

The Cancer Support Community’s (CSC) Research and Training Institute has created the Cancer Experience Registry to identify and advance the understanding of the emotional and social needs of people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

It is estimated that there will be nearly 1.7 million new cases of cancer diagnosed in the United States this year and more than 13.6 million cancer survivors. With more people being diagnosed with cancer and more people living longer with cancer, there is an urgent need to recognize and identify the challenges people face throughout the cancer journey, at diagnosis, during treatment and when the treatment is over. The Cancer Experience Registry was developed to tackle this very challenge.

By joining the Cancer Experience Registry, people can help change the experience for the millions of people who live with cancer every day. Additionally, participants will benefit from regular updates on the Cancer Experience Registry and other cancer news, access to existing support resources for people impacted by cancer and opportunities to take part in other studies throughout the year.
