Monroe Schools Making Progress On Roof Repairs

As town officials work out the best options for replacing older parts of Masuk High School's roof, progress on existing school roof projects has been made.

Supt. of Schools James Agostine and Jack Zamary, director of technology/operations for the district, made a presentation on the roof projects at the Town Council meeting Monday night.

  • A $175,000 replacement of the roof over the Stepney Elementary School cafeteria is complete.
  • Seventy five thousand dollars worth of roof repairs to address the largest leaks at Masuk High School are complete and ongoing.
  • A $1,585,000 re-roof, mansard and soffit replacement at Fawn Hollow Elementary School is underway and completion is expected this spring.
