School's Back Monday, With Some Bus Stop Changes

Monroe Public Schools sent an email message out to parents on Sunday.

After Hurricane Sandy closed down Monroe's schools for a week, classes will resume again on Monday. Central Office sent an email to parents Sunday telling them all schools will return to their regular schedules.

The rest of the information says:

While roads are passable, we ask that you reinforce with your child to stay away from any downed trees or low hanging wires. Please note the following bus stop changes due to continued restoration efforts:

  • All Patmar Circle bus stops will be at Patmar Dr.
  • All Cottage St. bus stops will be at Web and Cottage.
  • All Captains Hill bus stops will be at mailbox 163 Barn Hill or Swendsen and Captains Hill.
  • Bus stops on Church St. between Windsor and Lovers Lane will be at Lovers and Church.

Bus stop changes are in effect for tomorrow and are also listed on monroeps.org .  Please check the web site for future updates. Again all schools will be open on their regular schedules tomorrow. The Town will be issuing a Code Red Message with additional updates this afternoon. Thank you and have a good day.
