With snow expected this afternoon, Supt. James Agostine decided to have four hour early dismissal for Monroe's schools Tuesday. AccuWeather predicts ice can form on paved surfaces beneath the snow as temperatures fall, making for slippery road conditions on the commute home this evening.
According to Monroe Public Schools' website, here are the following school schedules with four hour early dismissal:
- Masuk High School, 7:25 to 10 a.m.
- Jockey Hollow Middle School, 8:15 to 10:50 a.m.
- STEM Academy, 8:05 to 10:40 a.m.
- Monroe Elementary School & Preschool, 8:15 to 10:50 a.m.
- Fawn Hollow Elementary School, 9 to 11:35 a.m.
- Stepney Elementary School, 9 to 11:35 a.m.
- St. Jude School, 7:40 to 9:55 a.m.
No lunch will be served at any of the public schools.
