Monroe residents can lace up their ice skates and take the ice at the Sports Center of Connecticut, 784 River Road in Shelton, for a free public skate for an hour-and-a-half this Sunday.
The center's free promotion for Monroe skaters will go on from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
