Monroe AccuWeather: A cold week is predicted, especially on Tuesday (high of 14-degrees and a low of 5) and Wednesday (high of 20, low of 6). There's a chance of snow flurries on Monday and snow showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Monday: Discover Your Money Personality at the Collaborative Women's Center, 500 Monroe Turnpike, at 10:30 a.m., is a workshop to empower your voice when discussing money in any situation. Admission costs $30 for CWC members and $50 for non-members. 

Town Meeting: Residents will have a chance to hear information and ask questions about a proposal to bond for $5,050,000 for the Pepper Street Improvement Project (90-percent of it would be reimbursed by the state and federal government). The meeting is in the Council Chambers of Monroe Town Hall at 7 p.m. It will then adjourn to a referendum vote on a date to be announced.

Tuesday: BNI Synergy Monroe Guest Day, at The Stone Barn at Whitney Farms, 175 Shelton Road, at 7 a.m.

Friday: Benedict's Winter Farm Market, at Benedict's Home & Garden, 480 Purdy Hill Road, from 2 to 5 p.m.

Project Warmth of Monroe's Energy Assistance Benefit Party, 7 p.m. at The Stone Barn at Whitney Farms, 175 Shelton Road.
