TRAFFIC NEWS: Potential Construction Delays June 9-14
Check your route before traveling.
Monroe Department of Public Works has announced road construction Monday through Friday this week, which could cause delays to motorists.
On Turkey Roost Road from Fan Hill Road to Hammertown only local traffic, emergency services and school buses will have access due to drainage repairs.
Repairs are taking place on Judd Road from town line to Hattertown, Hattertown Road from Huntingtown Road to Newton town line and on Cutler’s Farm Road from Bug Hill to Aspetuck Lane. Minor delays and some alternate routes should be expected on all.

The construction should take place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., though these are subject to weather and man power availability.
