St. Jude School

<p>St. Stephen's School was founded and built in 1962 and staffed by the Sisters of Notre Dame.</p> <p>The Catholic school changed its name to St. Jude School after St. Jude Parish was formed in 1974.</p> <p>In 1976, the school was staffed by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.</p> <p>Today, St. Jude has an "all-lay faculty" and an enrollment of about 200 students from Monroe and area towns, such as Trumbull, Shelton, Easton, Oxford, Newtown and Seymour.</p>
