I wonder if one of the runners was Monroe's Dr. Paul Moyse? If so, I sure hope he is okay.

Queen's Park Rangers, a top-tier professional soccer team in London wore black arm-bands out ofRead More respect for the events in Newtown. This is very unusual, and a significant symbol of the empathy felt world-wide. Dan Lasley (Newtown 88-96)

Reading this really upset me with the NFL. I can't believe that ONLY 3 teams are wearing decalsRead More in memory of SandyHook School. What difference does it make if you are on the East Coast or West Coast. I have so much respect for the Patriots, Giants and Jets for showing such a wonderful tribute to this very sad loss. And to the Patriots, who will be sending up 26 individual flares for those who lost their lives. Excellent tribute men !

Thought both The Bowl and Beyonce were great. However, The Super Bowl tends to be viewed as a familyRead More show and perhaps Beyonce could have toned it down a bit, but when you book Beyonce, hey, that is what you are going to get. Nothing against Beyonce, I am a big fan, but a little more clothes and a little less "gyrating" might have been the order of the day. She should save that for her concerts and maybe JayZ!!! Great show all around and my predictions for the eventual winner were correct. R.I.P. Mayor Ed Koch.

I couldn't agree more Keith. Great job Julie!!!! As a coach and manager for several years in MLL,Read More I am very glad to see this project getting off the ground and making the kids and parents proud of their facility when other towns come to play there.

This has been a long time coming, as a former league President, volunteer and manager I can think ofRead More nothing better than seeing the 5th Base back open for business. Kudos to Julie for her tireless efforts trying to get this done!

Many local town have a concession committee and no longer serve high sugar items at theseRead More concessions. The discovery in most leagues is that the concession is a fundraiser that is providing poor nutrition for our children. Since this is a youth organization MLL should follow the standards for nutrition set by the schools
